Perhaps we are.  American Appliance Service is a New Jersey  small business that my father Walter started in 1972.  Since his “retiring” in 2007 , we continue operating into our 2nd generation of a family owned business.  My father and mother still do most of the answering and scheduling.

Nope we charge the same Service call fee  for weekday appointments and Saturday appointments.

We provide service in Union County, Morris County, Somerset County, Essex County and Middlesex County.  For list or towns we service click here.

No we do not provide warranty service on any appliance covered by any warranty program. Try calling manufacture or the retailer where you purchased.

No we do not provide service for any appliance covered by any home warranty insurance company.  However, you can choose to hire our service company and seek to get reimbursed from your warranty program.

Short answer , No. This is a frequent question we are asked,  Do you waive your service call or apply the service call fee if work is performed?

We do not offer a “free” , “waived” or “applied” service call charge.   Here is the break down ,  we charge a Service Call fee to come to your home , diagnose your problem and give you a quote to repair.  If you choose to not repair, or if the appliance is not able to fixed, or if the appliance is not worth fixing.  Then the charge would be just the service call fee plus tax.  If you would like to proceed with the quoted repair,  that written itemized quote includes: the service call fee, parts total, labor total , plus applicable NJ Sales Tax.
