John came right away when we had an emergency with our leaking kenmore refrigerator. He was knowledgeable and honest. I will be using him in the future and highly recommend him.

Our washer had a problem for quite some time and I had to hit it to get it 'unstuck' and eventually it just stopped altogether. I made a call to American Appliance Service and Jon stopped by today and had the part needed in his vehicle and while I was busy keeping the cats away from him, he fixed it and was done in about 10 minutes. I can finally do wash again at home!

Our aging Viking oven was taking much too much time to preheat. John from American Appliance stopped by - he immediately knew exactly what the trouble was, explained to us the fix, did the fix, and the oven works like new! Very knowledgeable.

We have used American Appliance NJ on three occasions now and Jon has been amazing each time. He fixed our washer/dryer combo and our oven. On the third visit to repair the water dispenser on our refrigerator, he gave us instructions on how to repair it ourselves, and didn't charge us for the visit! Wow! We will definitely be using American Appliance in the future and referring them to friends.

I called American Appliance Service to repair my 12 year old refrigerator icemaker. They were easy to schedule and they kept in touch the morning of the scheudled day to let me know that they might be 1 hour late. Yet it only was 15 minutes later than the original window. John arrived, covered his shoes upon entering the house and went to work. After determining that we needed a replacement icemaker, he had the part with him and it was installed quickly. The bill was resonable ( for today's costs) and I now have ice.

Great service and quick too. Called yesterday afternoon and John was here the next day. Explained everything to us and gave us the price right away. No pressure at all. We highly recommend American Appliance Service. Thank you John!

One of my washer’s inlet valves was failing open even if I unplugged the machine which left me vulnerable to flooding if left unattended. I called on Tuesday because I saw so many great reviews which I always check. John came Tuesday afternoon, figured out what was needed, and I asked for a few other things like new hoses and a longer gas line so the dryer could be moved to where I wanted it to be as well. He came the next day, and it was all done, and I was back in business with being able to do laundry without fear of flooding. The price was very fair, and it was a great experience. I am a very picky guy when it comes to quality of workmanship and John is the best! You won’t be disappointed.

I was extremely satisfied with the service of American Appliance Service. John took the time to properly diagnose the problem with my oven, though it wasn't an easy job. His knowledge, expertise and integrity are incredible. Though I rarely write reviews, I made an exception this time due to the high level of satisfaction and appreciation, I felt obligated to share the experience with others so they can receive the same positive service if and when their appliance acts up.

So glad I scheduled American Appliance! They came right on time and got our refrigerator temperature-maintenance issues sorted out at minimal service call cost. Their technician was very knowledgeable about our Frigidaire model and showed me and clearly explained exactly what had gone wrong, why we had accumulated frost in a critical air passage, and why our attempts to adjust the temperature settings had produced the opposite of the intended effect. He got it all cleared out, and now we have a fridge that's functioning as it should. Keeping their card and will be sure to call AA next time we have any appliance issue. Highly recommend.

John showed up in a timely manner prepared to diagnose our stove top issues. He completed the repairs and provided helpful guidance on future maintenance. He was both professional and friendly making me eager to recommend his service to friends and family alike. The office staff was initially exceptionally helpful and courteous in scheduling our service call. I would highly recommend John and his team to anyone in need of honest and trustworthy service in their home.

I've used this company several times and they are the best. John is knowledgeable and pleasant and the prices are fair. I've never had to wait long for him to come out. He explains things to me so I know what to expect and what to watch out for in the future, given that my appliances are old. Highly recommend.

Very well. Our repairman from American Appliance got to the source of the refrigerator malfunction quickly, he explained everything in detail, and after ordering the part we needed came in on a Saturday to complete the repair, all with professionalism and courtesy.

Quick, fast and accurate work is what I got which was perfect!

Well, the stove/oven was pretty involved but John explained carefully the complexity and required parts that needed replacement. While it was more than I had hoped it was way less than a new stove! Also, Walter was amazing in contacting me to set up the appointment, and John called in advance that he was on his way.

John arrived well within the window provided. He was knowledgeable, professional and promptly affected a repair. The price was fair, and response quick. We highly recommend his services!

American Appliance provided a great repair experience. They were courteous, on time and accurately diagnosed the problem in my 21-yer-old dishwasher. Then they went above and beyond to find a distributor that had the necessary part. What more could you ask for? Will definitely use them again.

John was wonderful he called before he arrived. He wore a mask and shoe coverings and was very respectful. He had the parts and fixed my ovens on the spot. Would definitely recommend!

John was prompt and efficient. He was able to show up the day after I called and showed me exactly what the issue was, and gave me an accurate quote to fix it. He needed to get a replacement part and return within 3 days to complete the job. In this era of Covid, they are very aware to take all necessary precautions and insure they are working safely. Excellent service, American Appliance had the Ice Maker in their vehicle. It was replaced and working in less than 20 minutes from arrival to departure

John came on site as expected, and diagnosed the issue. He was thorough on what the issue was, and the costs for parts and labor. He showed up as expected to replace the part, and test to make sure it was operational. They would call in advance on the arrival of the tech and status on the part. Along with how the tech would arrive with mask, gloves and foot coverings.

In addition to fixing my leak, I also discussed my aging appliances with John. We talked about what I should watch for and what I could expect. He gave me good advice about my dryer and washing machine, too. This is the second time I've hired this company. They were responsive and professional both times. I highly recommend them.

My call to schedule an appointment was answered promptly, I received some information about the company, their services and the precautions they use during the pandemic . I received a window of time for a repairman to come the next day. John called when he was 15 mins away. When he came I explained the problem I was having with my washing machine. He knew exactly what it was, showed and explained what was wrong. He went to get the part in his truck and went to work. I think he spent a total of 30 minutes here. He was polite, efficient and the repair was reasonably priced. I would use American Appliance Service again (hopefully not any time in the near future, lol )and would highly recommend them to others.

The service was great. I called at 8 a.m. and by 6 p.m. John came, called before coming and my dryer was fixed. He was professional, personable and easy to talk to. This is a family owned business for over 50 years and I would highly recommend American Appliance without reservations.

American Appliance is the best repair service we have ever used. They came promptly and repaired our ice maker, and then repaired our oven which has seen better days,but now works just fine.The were polite,friendly and very knowledgeable with all brands. we highly recommend them.
